Q2 2024 Android App Insights for Top Fast Food Chains in Chile

In the second quarter of 2024, several prominent fast food and fast casual restaurant apps have shown varying trends in downloads and weekly active users on the Android platform in Chile. The data, provided by Sensor Tower, offers a snapshot of the apps' performances during this period.

The McDonald's Offers and Delivery app experienced a surge in downloads, starting at 12K in early April and reaching a peak of 29K in late May, before settling at 17K by the end of June. Weekly active users also saw an increase, from 103K to a peak of 125K in the same span.

KFC APP - Ec, Co, Cl, Ar y Ve showed a steady growth in downloads, beginning the quarter with 9K and climbing to nearly 13K by mid-June. Weekly active users fluctuated slightly but ended on an upward trend, from 96K to 106K by late June.

The Papa John's Chile app's downloads witnessed a notable rise, with numbers starting at 5K and jumping to 9K by the end of the quarter. Active users also saw an increase from 47K to 54K, indicating a positive engagement trend.

Burger King Chile had a mixed performance with a significant download peak of 15K in late May, but otherwise fluctuated between 4K and 8K during the quarter. Weekly active users showed a similar pattern with a high of 68K, ending at 52K.

Lastly, Starbucks Chile had the most modest download numbers, starting at under 1K and peaking at 2K twice during the quarter. Despite the lower download rates, weekly active users grew from 9K to 14K, suggesting a dedicated user base.
